Privacy Policy

What this site collects, why, and how to opt out.

Who

This is the portfolio site of Lisa Dion, a Detroit-based art director and designer, at diondesign.com. Questions about this policy can go to lisa@diondesign.com.

What's collected

The site has no forms and no accounts, so it doesn't ask for your name or email. It does use three standard tools that set cookies and collect anonymous usage information, such as pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived:

  • Google Analytics. Measures how visitors use the site.
  • Google Ads. Measures the results of Google advertising and may show this site's ads to past visitors.
  • Meta Pixel. Measures the results of Facebook and Instagram advertising and may show this site's ads to past visitors.

Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube doesn't set cookies until you press play. Clicking "Schedule a call" opens Calendly. Both have their own privacy policies.

How it's used

To understand which work people look at, improve the site, and measure and target advertising. This information is not sold. Google and Meta process it under their own privacy policies.

Your choices
  • Block cookies. Most browsers can block or delete cookies in their settings.
  • Google. Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on, and control ad personalization in My Ad Center.
  • Meta. Control ads based on website activity in your Meta ad preferences.

This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above shows the latest version.
