About This Project

CLIENT: Premier Communications Group, Compuware

ROLE: Art Director, Sr. Graphic Designer

TOOLS: Adobe CC, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

Challenge:

Design a comprehensive and engaging relocation kit for Compuware employees transitioning to remote work. The kit needed to include practical items such as a die-cut case, a desktop reference booklet, a USB drive, and a coffee mug, all packaged in a way that reflected Compuware’s brand identity and eased the transition for employees.

Solution:

Branding and Design: Developed a cohesive branding strategy for the virtual office kit, ensuring all elements, including the die-cut case, desktop reference booklet, USB drive, and coffee mug, featured consistent design elements and Compuware’s branding.

Die-Cut Case: Designed a functional and visually appealing die-cut case to securely hold all items. The case was crafted to be durable and easy to transport, reflecting the practicality needed for a remote working setup.

Desktop Reference Booklet: Created a handy desktop reference booklet that included essential information and tips for remote work. The booklet design was user-friendly and visually engaging, making it a valuable resource for employees.

USB Drive and Coffee Mug: Designed custom-branded USB drives and coffee mugs to add a personal touch to the kit. These items were both practical and symbolic of the company’s support for its employees during the transition.

Packaging and Presentation: Ensured the overall packaging was sleek and professional. The design emphasized functionality while maintaining a high standard of aesthetics to make a positive impression on employees.

Results:

Enhanced Employee Experience: The virtual office kit effectively supported employees in their transition to remote work, providing them with practical tools and resources while reinforcing Compuware’s brand identity.

Positive Feedback: Received positive feedback from both Compuware and their employees for the thoughtful and well-designed kit. Employees appreciated the attention to detail and the practical items included in the package.

Brand Consistency: Successfully maintained brand consistency across all elements of the kit, reinforcing Compuware’s commitment to quality and employee support.
